Steps and Details In Event of Death Worksheet
I'm a tech geek, relentless organizer and problem solver.
Recently a dear friend of mine - and larger than life personality - was hit and killed by a drunk driver. And I wanted to do something to help his lovely wife and family get through a time of overwhelming grief, and burden of putting his life to bed.
So I looked for resources to help them check off the mundane and confusing tasks, that were going to need to get done. And the endless details & information that needed to be gathered and documented, along with contact information for organizations and themselves. I couldn’t find what I wanted as a single resource.
So I did what tech geeks do and I built this spreadsheet to contain all the need in a single place.
I gathered from many resources and got them all contained in here.
There’s no money motive here. I want to share this with as many people as possible. It's simply my way of giving back, through my friend's tragedy, in what can be one of the toughest things families will inevitably go through.
Please download it. Add anything that I've missed, or change it up for where you live. Fill out as much of it as you can while you are able. Share it with others and encourage them to do the same. And share it with people when they have a time of need.
Till I see you again Kenny, here’s to you for helping others, through your early departure from our living world.
